Ghost Town Brewing is looking for someone to help produce excellent barrel aged beverages for the west coast and, possibly, beyond. We are looking for an amiable and hard-working individual to assist in everything but the brewing of wild ales, farmhouse ales, and maybe even some new products coming out of our barrel cellar. Having any previous experience or knowledge is a plus, but we are willing to train. Having a background in physical labor, industrial settings, scientific settings or food manufacturing are a big plus. Any skills with electrical, mechanical or warehouse operations is also helpful. Cleaning and organizing all parts and area of the barrel cellar.

Steaming and Rinsing all empty oak vessels.

Transferring beer to and from oak or stainless steel vessels. 

Processing fruit, spices, herbs and all other ingredients for infusion to beer.

Performing CIP on barrel cellar brite tanks and fruit totes.

Setting up, performing and cleaning up bottling equipment.

Filling kegs and organizing their storage along with the warehouse staff.

Lab and sensory analysis of beers’ progress.

Experience in industrial setting, food manufacturing or warehouse setting.

Ability to work independently and finish assigned tasks without immediate supervision.

Attention to detail and understanding of working in a sanitary manner.

An interest and curiosity of alcoholic beverage flavor, aroma, history, and future.

Willingness to work safely with heavy machinery, high voltage and high or tight spaces. 

Willingness to work in a loud environment, including loud music. We will provide earplugs, if needed. 

Home or Commercial brewing or fermented beverage experience and/or knowledge.

Knowledge or Experience operating heavy machinery including a forklift.
